Naomi Sabel, Ben Ezinga and Josh Rosen are the principals behind Sustainable Community Associates (SCA), a community development firm working to reinvigorate main streets and urban neighborhoods with sustainable and socially responsible values. Their developments, which include the award winning, historic renovations of the Fairmont Creamery and Wagner Awning Buildings in Tremont and the East College Street Project in Oberlin, host new businesses and income-integrated housing, providing both an expanded tax base and increased opportunities.

To date, SCA has coordinated the investment of more than $60 million into Northeast Ohio neighborhoods and earned a reputation for taking on challenging projects and problems that most other developers avoid.

SCA manages and maintains each project it develops.  They work hard to form tight-knit communities and respond to all maintenance requests within 24 hours.  Ask any of their current residents.

In collaboration with their joint venture partner, Midwest Development Partners, Mueller Lofts is SCA's first project in Cleveland’s Asiatown neighborhood, but hopefully not the last.

Bialosky Cleveland are the architects for Mueller Lofts. They have poured their imagination, creativity and technical excellence into Mueller. Their leadership and attention to detail are the fulcrum of this restoration

Naylor Wellman

Naylor Wellman serve as the historic consultant for the Mueller renovation. They make sure we are preserving everything old and interesting about the building, so that the living spaces feel like an homage to the past blended with modern living spaces and amenities. This is Naylor Wellman's third project with Sustainable Community Associates.

John G. Johnson Construction

JGJ Construction is our general contractor for this job and it has been an awesome experience working with them. We are so fortunate to have this team of dedicated professionals making sure the job is done right. They've also hired a great group of terrific Northeast Ohio subcontractors who are keeping us on time and on budget!
